One of the two specialist breast care nurses based at the Breast Care Centre. Jane is also coordinator of the Centre, ensuring that its day-to-day running is constantly kept to a high standard. Jane works alongside Mr. Simon Cawthorn, Consultant Breast Surgeon, and is available at all times to give support, advice and information to patients who attend his clinics – whatever their diagnosis or problem.
LIN WILLOUGHBY
The second specialist breast care nurse based at the Centre, Lin works alongside
Mr. Ajay Sahu, consultant Surgeon. Lin is available at all times to give support, advice and information to patients who attend his clinics whatever their diagnosis or problem. In addition, Lin is responsible for the prosthesis fitting clinic.
The administrator of the Breast Care Centre, responsible for its efficient day-today running as well as the friendly and personal service offered to its visitors. Sue is also responsible for the management of the clerical and administrative staff and is facilitator of the breast project in the Avon, Somerset and Wiltshire Cancer Services Collaborative
Works on the reception desk of the Centre offering visitors a warm, friendly welcome. Her main responsibilities include helping to achieve the smooth running of the clinics by booking patients in and out, checking that patient details are correct and up-to-date, and booking future appointments.
DELIA
BOLTON
Another member of the important ‘front-line’ team at the Breast Care Centre. Delia divides her time between reception and administration responsibilities. All the various tasks she performs help to ensure the efficient, friendly and personal service given at the Centre
When working on ‘reception’ Louise is one of the important ‘front-line" staff who provide a friendly, warm greeting to all visitors who attend the Centre. At other times she can be found in the general office. Answering some of the numerous phone calls received daily, making appointments and typing letters are just a few of her many responsibilities. She also makes the best cup of tea in the department!
CATHARINE DAWE
Catharine is the breast cancer research nurse and is responsible for making us one of the more successful trials units in the country.
CAROLYN SMITH
Carolyn Is the cancer research trials administrator for North Bristol Trust, but
spends a lot of her time in the trials office in the breast care centre.
Louise Wilson
Louise works on reception and in the general office.
Fiona White
Fiona also works on reception and in the general office.
Liz Perrott
Liz is a staff nurse who works in the clinics, particularly dealing with post operative dressings and infection control.

Debbie is a Heathcare Assistant who works in nearly all the clinics

Sharon is a staff nurse who does the beast cancer follow-up clinics.
